What Is Sasolate® NFM?

Sasolate® NFM other name is N-formylmorpholine. It is an important organic solvent and fine chemical raw material. It is a colorless and transparent liquid at room temperature. It has the chemical properties of amide. Its aqueous solution is easily hydrolyzed into morpholine and formic acid in the presence of acid or alkali, and the aqueous solution is weakly alkaline.

Sasolate® NFM Use

1.N-Formylmorpholine is used for the desulfurization of natural gas, syngas, flue gas, natural gas condensate and gasoline.
2. N-Formylmorpholine is the best extraction solvent for petroleum aromatics devices. It can be used to recover aromatics by extractive distillation. It has good selectivity, good thermal and chemical stability, non-toxic and non-corrosive.
3. N-Formylmorpholine is currently the most widely used solvent for recovery of aromatic hydrocarbons.
4. N-Formylmorpholine is an excellent aprotic solvent with high solubility and selectivity for aromatics. Its mixture has been successfully used in the aromatic extraction process and butene concentration process
