1. Polyurethane (PU) Industry

Used as a solvent in the synthesis of dry/wet PU resins (such as synthetic leather and shoe material resins), surface treatment agents, PU adhesives (shoe glue, bonding adhesives), and as a hydrophilic chain extender for water-based PU resins.

2. Polymer Materials
Used as a solvent in the manufacture of polyimide (PI) films, paints, and fibers; also used in the production of ultrafiltration membranes.

3. Electronics and Electrical Industry
Used as a solvent for dicyandiamide curing agents in epoxy copper-clad laminates, and as a cleaning solvent for electronic circuit boards and LED photoresists.

Used as a high-boiling-point diluent for insulating varnishes, baking varnishes, etc., to improve the leveling and gloss of paint films; also used as a resin solvent for shoe material inks.

5. Lithium-ion Batteries
Used as a solvent for lithium-ion battery electrode slurries.

Used as a reaction medium or intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, insect repellents, and food additives (such as sucralose).

7. Textile Fibers

Used in the manufacturing process of acrylic, spandex, and polyimide fibers.
