Akrilat, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck s\u0131cakl\u0131k esnekli\u011fi, \u0131s\u0131 direnci, ya\u015flanma direnci, y\u00fcksek \u015feffafl\u0131k ve renk kararl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 nedeniyle \u00e7e\u015fitli polimer malzemelerin \u00fcretiminde yayg\u0131n olarak kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Bu \u00f6zellikler, plastikler, zemin vernikleri, kaplamalar, tekstil \u00fcr\u00fcnleri, boyalar ve yap\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u0131c\u0131lar dahil olmak \u00fczere \u00e7ok geni\u015f bir uygulama yelpazesinde kullan\u0131lmas\u0131na olanak tan\u0131r. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fma i\u00e7in toplam 20 ayr\u0131 koku test edilmi\u015ftir. Bu monomerler ticari ve laboratuvarda sentezlenmi\u015f olanlar\u0131 i\u00e7ermektedir. Testler, bu monomerlerin kokular\u0131n\u0131n k\u00fck\u00fcrt, \u00e7akmak gaz\u0131, sardunya ve mantar kokular\u0131na sahip olarak s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131r\u0131labilece\u011fini g\u00f6stermi\u015ftir.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

1,2-Propandiol diakrilat (no. 16), metil akrilat (no. 1), etil akrilat (no. 2) ve propil akrilat (no. 3) esas olarak s\u00fclf\u00fcr ve sar\u0131msak kokular\u0131 olarak tan\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ayr\u0131ca, son iki madde daha hafif bir gaz kokusuna sahip olarak tan\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015f ve etil akrilat ve 1,2-propilen glikol diakrilat biraz tutkal kokusu izlenimi vermi\u015ftir. Vinil akrilat (no. 5) ve propilen akrilat (no. 6) gaz yak\u0131t kokusu, 1-hidroksiizopropil akrilat (no. 10) ve 2-hidroksin-propil akrilat (no. 12) sardunya ve \u00e7akmak gaz\u0131 kokusu olarak tan\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. n-butil akrilat (no. 4), 3-(Z)pentenil akrilat (no. 7), sek-b\u00fctil akrilat (sardunya, mantar aromas\u0131; no. 8), 2-hidroksietil akrilat (no. 11), 4-metilpentil akrilat (mantar, meyvemsi; no. 14) ve etilen glikol diakrilat (no. 15) mantar kokular\u0131 olarak tan\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. \u0130zob\u00fctil akrilat (no. 9), 2-etilheksil akrilat (no. 13), siklopentil akrilat (no. 17) ve siklohekzan akrilat (no. 18) havu\u00e7 kokusu ve sardunya kokusu olarak tan\u0131mlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 2-Metoksifenil akrilat (no. 19) sardunya ve prosciutto gibi kokarken, izomeri 4-metoksifenil akrilat (no. 20) anason ve anason kokusu olarak tan\u0131mlanmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Test edilen monomerlerin koku e\u015fikleri b\u00fcy\u00fck farkl\u0131l\u0131klar g\u00f6stermi\u015ftir. Buradaki koku e\u015fi\u011fi, koku alma e\u015fi\u011fi olarak da bilinen, insan koku alg\u0131s\u0131 i\u00e7in en k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck uyaran\u0131 \u00fcreten maddenin konsantrasyonunu ifade eder. Koku e\u015fi\u011fi ne kadar y\u00fcksekse, koku o kadar d\u00fc\u015f\u00fckt\u00fcr. Deneysel sonu\u00e7lardan, koku e\u015fi\u011finin zincir uzunlu\u011fundan ziyade fonksiyonel gruplardan etkilendi\u011fi g\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir.
