PVC Plasticizers:
Cold-Resistant Plasticizer: A key advantage of DOA is its ability to provide PVC products with excellent low-temperature flexibility and cold resistance. It significantly lowers the glass transition temperature of PVC plastics, preventing them from hardening and becoming brittle at low temperatures.
Primary Plasticizer: Exhibits excellent compatibility with PVC resin, making it suitable as a primary plasticizer.
Application Products:
Cold-Resistant Wire & Cable Compounds: Used for insulation and sheathing in wires for cold regions or inside refrigeration equipment.
Artificial leather (PVC leather): Particularly suited for products requiring soft hand feel and fold resistance, such as automotive interiors, furniture leather, gloves, and footwear materials.
Films and sheets: Used in agricultural films, packaging films, raincoats, tablecloths, etc., to enhance flexibility and low-temperature performance.
Flexible tubing and gaskets: Applications requiring good elasticity and sealing properties.
2. Rubber Industry
As a rubber softener and plasticizer in processing natural and synthetic rubbers (e.g., styrene-butadiene rubber, neoprene). It improves processing properties (reduces mixing viscosity and energy consumption), increases compound plasticity and flexibility, while also providing some cold resistance.
3. Coatings and Adhesives Industry
Coatings: As a modifier or plasticizer for polymer resins (e.g., polyurethane, acrylic resins), it enhances paint film flexibility, adhesion, and impact resistance, particularly in low-temperature environments.
