1. Pesticide Intermediates
This is currently the most core and widespread application. It is mainly used in the synthesis of two highly effective triazole fungicides:
• Tebuconazole: Used to control fungal diseases in various crops. This compound itself is also known as “Tebuconazole impurity 1” or “Tebuconazole intermediate”.
• Uniconazole: A plant growth regulator with fungicidal activity.

2. Farmasötik Ara Maddeler
According to a technical requirements analysis, this compound (referred to as PCB-3-pentanone in the text) is also a key intermediate in the synthesis of BMS-65436, a new drug for treating breast cancer and cervical cancer.

3. Other Bioactive Molecule Intermediates
It is also widely used in the synthesis of various other types of bioactive substances, including:
– Aldose reductase inhibitors
– Angiotensin antagonists
– Antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-ulcer agents
– Lipoxygenase inhibitors
