1. O \u00e1cido polifosf\u00f3rico (PPA) \u00e9 um modificador qu\u00edmico do asfalto comumente usado. Misturado ao asfalto, ele forma liga\u00e7\u00f5es qu\u00edmicas est\u00e1veis, melhora a compatibilidade interfacial e os efeitos de modifica\u00e7\u00e3o, e tem recebido muita aten\u00e7\u00e3o nos \u00faltimos anos.<\/p>\n

2. O \u00e1cido polifosf\u00f3rico (PPA) passa por duas rea\u00e7\u00f5es qu\u00edmicas durante o processo de modifica\u00e7\u00e3o: neutraliza\u00e7\u00e3o e esterifica\u00e7\u00e3o. Em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com outros modificadores, o \u00e1cido polifosf\u00f3rico tem excelentes efeitos de modifica\u00e7\u00e3o no asfalto, como a melhoria da resist\u00eancia a danos causados pela \u00e1gua e ao desgaste, a melhoria do desempenho em altas temperaturas e a redu\u00e7\u00e3o da sensibilidade \u00e0 temperatura.<\/p>\n

3. Al\u00e9m disso, a pesquisa mostrou que a mistura de \u00e1cido polifosf\u00f3rico e alguns pol\u00edmeros n\u00e3o s\u00f3 pode alcan\u00e7ar o mesmo efeito com o uso de asfalto modificado com pol\u00edmero sozinho, mas tamb\u00e9m com modificador de \u00e1cido polifosf\u00f3rico barato em vez de alguns dos modificadores de pol\u00edmero caros, reduzindo o custo do asfalto modificado.<\/p>\n

4. O \u00e1cido polifosf\u00f3rico tamb\u00e9m pode ser usado em s\u00ednteses org\u00e2nicas como agente de perda de \u00e1gua, agente de cicliza\u00e7\u00e3o, agente de acila\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 a condensa\u00e7\u00e3o, cicliza\u00e7\u00e3o, rearranjo, substitui\u00e7\u00e3o e outras rea\u00e7\u00f5es do catalisador ou solvente.<\/p>\n

5. \u00c0s vezes, com a classe de \u00e9ster de \u00e1cido polifosf\u00f3rico (PPE) para aumentar a solubilidade do \u00e1cido polifosf\u00f3rico em solventes org\u00e2nicos, al\u00e9m do \u00e1cido polifosf\u00f3rico, tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 usado como substituto do \u00e1cido ortofosf\u00f3rico e reagente anal\u00edtico.<\/p>\n
