Q: Why amine additives have great influence on the anti-sinking and anti-fluxing of paint system?

A: In our technical practice, we often come across this kind of problems, PU primer originally anti-sinking is very good, in winter, in order to dry, once add amine drying agent, immediately anti-sinking will not work, hard precipitation, PE primer is also the same, tertiary amine drying agent will greatly reduce the anti-sinking performance of the system. Or in the amine curing agent component with a color filler is difficult to achieve good anti-settling.
These phenomena encountered in practice, in the textbooks generally can not find explanations and instructions, reasons and solutions. 1, PU system, PU primer was anti-sinking is very good, a winter to dry, add an amine drying agent, immediately anti-sinking will not work, there is a hard precipitation. d. It can be used to disperse and wet metal pigment such as aluminum powder/copper gold powder/zinc powder to prevent it from precipitation, because its alkalinity won’t affect the surface property of metal pigment, but the acidic component or the acidity of the base material will seriously affect the appearance of metal pigment paint film. It can also play the role of anti-silver, used as anti-silver additives.
e. It can be dissolved in water, so it can be used in water-based system. It has the above abcd applications.

Note for use:
AD-4K needs time for coupling reaction with -COOH/-OH and other active groups of resin base material, so please add it in the front of the paint making process in the open powder grinding section, grind it together and test the anti-sinking and anti-sagging performance 24 hours after proofing.
