BDMAEE Application scenarios

1. Flexible Slabstock Foams:

As a primary catalyst for the foaming reaction, it is suitable for all specifications of flexible slabstock foams, from low to high density, and from filled to high-resilience types (such as mattresses and sofa sponges), improving process stability and the physical and chemical properties of the finished products, such as resilience and elongation.

2. High-Resilience Molded Foams:

Often compounded with strong gelling catalysts, it meets the standard processing requirements for high-resilience molded foams used in automotive seats, headrests, and armrests, ensuring stable foaming and surface curing quality.

3. Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) Products:

Suitable for polyurethane structural parts produced by the RIM process (such as automotive bumpers and instrument panel substrates), it offers high catalytic efficiency, facilitating rapid molding and dimensional stability of complex-shaped products.

4. Low-Mold Temperature Molding Foam Systems:

It enables excellent surface curing at low mold temperatures, reducing energy consumption and increasing process operating latitude, and is suitable for various molding systems such as TDI, T/MM/T, and MDI.

5. Certain Rigid Foam Systems:

Used in combination with other gelling catalysts, it can be used in the production of certain rigid polyurethane foams (such as insulation panels and refrigerator insulation layers), balancing the foaming and gelling reaction rates.

6. Polyurethane Elastomers and Adhesives:

Used as an auxiliary catalyst in the synthesis of polyurethane elastomers and some adhesives, it regulates the reaction process and improves the mechanical properties and bonding strength of the products.
