Application:
4-Aminophenol can be widely used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, dyestuffs, rubber auxiliaries, photographic materials, oil antioxidants, hair dyes, inhibitors of polymerisation of vinyl monomers and many other fine chemicals.
1、Application in pharmaceutical industry
4-aminophenol as a pharmaceutical intermediate can be used for the synthesis of paracetamol (acetaminophen), paracetamol (acetamidoacetylsalicylic acid ester), cardiac glycosides, complex nicotinamide, Antomin, vitamin B1 and other drugs.
2、Application in rubber industry
4-aminophenol can be synthesised into p-phenylenediamine rubber antioxidant H, 4010, 4010NA, 4030, 4020 and so on.
3、Application in dyestuff industry
4-Aminophenol is used in the synthesis of sulfur dyes, acid dyes, azo dyes and fur dyes. Such as: sulphur blue FBG, sulphur green and so on.
4、Application in other industries
4-aminophenol has strong reducing properties, in the synthesis of other fine and speciality chemicals 4-aminophenol synthetic 4-(N-methylaminophenol) and its salts can be used for photographic developer, but also inhibit the corrosion of chloride-containing acid solution on the steel and can be used as an intermediate in hair dyes; synthesis of 4-anilino phenol can be used for petroleum and lubricating oils antioxidants and inhibitors of polymerisation of vinyl monomers, and so on.
