2. IJzeracetonaat kan worden gebruikt om MOCVD-precursors voor zeer kristallijne (Zn,Fe)Fe2O4 dunne films te bereiden en om de magnetische eigenschappen van deze dunne films te meten.<\/h4>\n

3. IJzeracetylacetonaat wordt gebruikt als crosslinking-agent en uithardingsversneller voor hars.<\/h4>\n

4. IJzeracetylacetonaat wordt gebruikt als stookolieadditief op het gebied van additieven om de smeerbaarheid en brandbaarheid te verbeteren. Het kan ook worden gebruikt als katalysator voor aardoliekraken en als rubberadditief.<\/h4>\n
