UV-234 Application scenarios
1. Kunststoffen en polymeren
Used as a light stabilizer to prevent yellowing, embrittlement, and loss of mechanical properties of materials during outdoor use or under light exposure.
2. Paints and Coatings
Used to protect paint films and coatings of automotive paints, building exterior paints, industrial protective coatings, coil coatings, and powder coatings, preventing gloss loss, chalking, cracking, and color changes caused by UV radiation, thus extending their service life.
3. Rubber and Elastomers
Prevents hardening and cracking of rubber products (such as sealing strips, tire sidewalls, and outdoor products) due to photoaging.
4. Synthetic Fibers and Textiles
Added during the fiber manufacturing process or used in functional textile coatings to improve the lightfastness of fabrics (especially outdoor clothing, awnings, etc.).
5. Other Industrial Additives
Used as an auxiliary additive to protect materials sensitive to ultraviolet light.
