    Il brillantante ottico FP-127 \u00e8 insolubile in acqua, ma solubile nei comuni solventi organici, con una lunghezza d'onda massima di assorbimento di 368 nm e una lunghezza d'onda massima di emissione di 436 nm. Ha una forte resistenza agli acidi e agli alcali, un'elevata bianchezza e un piccolo dosaggio che produce un ottimo effetto sbiancante.
