Questi monomeri comprendono monomeri commerciali e sintetizzati in laboratorio. I test hanno dimostrato che gli odori di questi monomeri possono essere classificati come odori di zolfo, gas leggero, geranio e fungo.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Il diacrilato di 1,2-propandiolo (n. 16), l'acrilato di metile (n. 1), l'acrilato di etile (n. 2) e l'acrilato di propile (n. 3) sono stati descritti principalmente come odori di zolfo e aglio. Inoltre, le ultime due sostanze sono state descritte come aventi un odore di gas pi\u00f9 leggero, mentre l'acrilato di etile e il diacrilato di glicole 1,2-propilenico avevano l'impressione di un piccolo odore di colla. L'acrilato di vinile (n. 5) e l'acrilato di propilene (n. 6) sono stati descritti come odori di carburante gassoso, l'acrilato di 1-idrossisopropile (n. 10) e l'acrilato di 2-idrossipropile (n. 12) come odori di geranio e di gas pi\u00f9 leggero. 4), acrilato di 3-(Z)pentenile (n. 7), acrilato di sec-butile (geranio, sapore di fungo; n. 8), acrilato di 2-idrossietil (n. 11), acrilato di 4-metilpentile (fungo, fruttato; n. 14) e diacrilato di etilenglicole (n. 15) sono stati descritti come odori di fungo. L'acrilato di isobutile (n. 9), l'acrilato di 2-etilesile (n. 13), l'acrilato di ciclopentile (n. 17) e l'acrilato di cicloesano (n. 18) sono descritti come odore di carota e profumo di geranio. Il 2-metossifenil acrilato (n. 19) ha un odore di geranio e prosciutto, mentre il suo isomero 4-metossifenil acrilato (n. 20) \u00e8 descritto come odore di anice e anice.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Le soglie di odore dei monomeri testati hanno mostrato grandi differenze. La soglia di odore si riferisce alla concentrazione della sostanza che produce il minimo stimolo alla percezione umana dell'odore, nota anche come soglia olfattiva.
