Le poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne glycol 2,5- furandicarboxylate (PEF) est un polym\u00e8re biosourc\u00e9 100 % recyclable, produit \u00e0 partir de mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res renouvelables d\u00e9riv\u00e9es de sources v\u00e9g\u00e9tales. Le PEF a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9crit comme un polyester de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration ayant un grand potentiel pour remplacer le poly\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne t\u00e9r\u00e9phtalate (PET), un polym\u00e8re durable d\u00e9riv\u00e9 de sources synth\u00e9tiques traditionnelles. Le PEF offre un certain nombre d'avantages par rapport au PET : non seulement il r\u00e9duit l'empreinte carbone globale du produit, mais il am\u00e9liore \u00e9galement la durabilit\u00e9 de l'emballage. De plus, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une meilleure barri\u00e8re contre l'oxyg\u00e8ne, le dioxyde de carbone et la vapeur d'eau que le PET, il peut \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme une alternative int\u00e9ressante au PET pour les applications d'emballage telles que les bouteilles, les films et les barquettes alimentaires.<\/p>\n
