    L'azurant optique FP-127 est insoluble dans l'eau, mais soluble dans les solvants organiques courants. Sa longueur d'onde d'absorption maximale est de 368 nm et sa longueur d'onde d'\u00e9mission maximale est de 436 nm. Il pr\u00e9sente une forte r\u00e9sistance aux acides et aux alcalis, une grande blancheur, un faible dosage produisant un tr\u00e8s bon effet de blanchiment.
