Le bois naturel peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre recouvert d'un rev\u00eatement en poudre, mais la finition peut \u00eatre in\u00e9gale. Des probl\u00e8mes de d\u00e9gazage et de trous d'\u00e9pingle peuvent survenir en raison des changements dans la teneur en r\u00e9sine et en humidit\u00e9 du bois naturel.<\/p>\n<p>La densit\u00e9, les fibres, la r\u00e9sine et le taux d'humidit\u00e9 du bois naturel varient selon le type de bois, en plus de l'effet de l'endroit o\u00f9 il est cultiv\u00e9, et m\u00eame si l'esp\u00e8ce d'arbre est la m\u00eame, chaque arbre est diff\u00e9rent.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que le processus de rev\u00eatement en poudre utilise la chaleur pour faire fondre la poudre, m\u00eame \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures plus basses et pour des temps d'exposition courts, la chaleur peut provoquer des r\u00e9actions incontr\u00f4lables dans le bois naturel. Les photo-initiateurs sont des composants cl\u00e9s, ils absorbent la lumi\u00e8re UV \u00e0 haute intensit\u00e9 et g\u00e9n\u00e8rent et activent des radicaux libres pour r\u00e9ticuler le rev\u00eatement. Le durcissement est la r\u00e9ticulation de l'ensemble du rev\u00eatement au niveau mol\u00e9culaire et constitue une \u00e9tape de durcissement instantan\u00e9e. \"D\u00e8s que le photo-initiateur est expos\u00e9 \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re UV, la r\u00e9ticulation se produit et le rev\u00eatement durcit imm\u00e9diatement\", explique M. Lonchak.<\/p>\n<p>Les additifs am\u00e9liorent la surface du rev\u00eatement en am\u00e9liorant ou en ajustant des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s sp\u00e9cifiques - r\u00e9sistance aux rayures ou aux marques, brillance et texture. Les pigments cr\u00e9ent la couleur et l'opacit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Les rev\u00eatements en poudre durcis aux UV sont produits de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re que les rev\u00eatements en poudre thermodurcissables, en utilisant le m\u00eame type d'\u00e9quipement - les processus comprennent le m\u00e9lange, l'extrusion, le refroidissement, le tranchage, le broyage, le calibrage, le tamisage et l'emballage.<\/p>\n<p>Pour obtenir un bon effet de durcissement, il est n\u00e9cessaire de faire correspondre le type et la quantit\u00e9 de photo-initiateur avec la source de lumi\u00e8re UV, y compris la combinaison appropri\u00e9e de la dose d'\u00e9nergie UV, de l'intensit\u00e9 et de la longueur d'onde.<\/p>\n<p>Il existe plusieurs types de lampes UV \u00e0 vapeur de mercure \u00e0 moyenne pression pour le s\u00e9chage UV des rev\u00eatements en poudre. Les lampes \u00e0 mercure (lampes \"H\") fournissent une \u00e9nergie UV \u00e0 courte longueur d'onde (220-320 nm) et conviennent aux applications de vernis et de couches transparentes. Les lampes \u00e0 mercure dop\u00e9es au gallium (ampoules \"V\") ont une forte production d'\u00e9nergie aux grandes longueurs d'onde (405-440 nm) et sont des dispositifs de durcissement essentiels pour les syst\u00e8mes \u00e0 haute teneur en pigments. Loncic.<\/p>\n<p>Tout d'abord, la pi\u00e8ce est suspendue \u00e0 la ligne de production et les particules de poussi\u00e8re restant dans le processus sont \u00e9limin\u00e9es par pulv\u00e9risation d'air comprim\u00e9. Le pon\u00e7age de la surface n'est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus n\u00e9cessaire avant le rev\u00eatement par poudre. Ensuite, la pi\u00e8ce en MDF est plac\u00e9e dans un four pr\u00e9chauff\u00e9 \u00e0 basse temp\u00e9rature pendant une minute. \"Cela permet d'a\u00e9rer la feuille avant de la peindre et d'amener l'humidit\u00e9 du MDF \u00e0 la surface, ce qui rend la feuille conductrice pour retenir la peinture en poudre\", ajoute M. Loncic.<\/p>\n<p>Le rev\u00eatement en poudre durcissant aux UV est ensuite appliqu\u00e9 par voie \u00e9lectrostatique \u00e0 l'aide d'un syst\u00e8me de pistolet automatique. La poudre est ensuite fondue ou g\u00e9lifi\u00e9e dans un four \u00e0 basse temp\u00e9rature pendant une minute suppl\u00e9mentaire. Une fois fondue, la pi\u00e8ce se solidifie imm\u00e9diatement sous la lumi\u00e8re UV. En moins de 20 minutes, la pi\u00e8ce est compl\u00e8tement usin\u00e9e et pr\u00eate \u00e0 \u00eatre emball\u00e9e et exp\u00e9di\u00e9e au client.<\/p>\n<p>Les rev\u00eatements en poudre durcissant aux UV ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis au point il y a plus de 20 ans pour remplacer les rev\u00eatements en poudre durcissant \u00e0 la chaleur. Le durcissement thermique n\u00e9cessite des temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es (environ 400\u00b0F\/204\u00b0C) et prend 10 \u00e0 30 minutes ou plus. Le temps de traitement est plus long et un temps de refroidissement suppl\u00e9mentaire est n\u00e9cessaire avant de passer \u00e0 l'\u00e9tape suivante.<\/p>\n<p>Comme le souligne Lonchak, les principaux avantages du s\u00e9chage UV par rapport au s\u00e9chage thermique se situent au niveau du temps et de la temp\u00e9rature. Le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de poudrage \u00e9lectrostatique pour les rev\u00eatements en poudre \u00e0 s\u00e9chage UV et les rev\u00eatements en poudre \u00e0 s\u00e9chage thermique est exactement le m\u00eame, mais les processus de fusion\/\u00e9coulement et de durcissement sont des caract\u00e9ristiques importantes qui diff\u00e9rencient les deux sur le plan fonctionnel.<\/p>\n<p>Le processus de s\u00e9chage UV est instantan\u00e9. Il suffit d'un bref r\u00e9chauffement d'une minute \u00e0 220-240\u00b0F (104-116\u00b0C) pour faire fondre\/niveler le rev\u00eatement en poudre avant le durcissement aux UV. Cela pr\u00e9sente l'avantage de raccourcir consid\u00e9rablement la dur\u00e9e du processus et d'abaisser la temp\u00e9rature globale, ce qui rend le processus de rev\u00eatement en poudre durcissant aux UV tr\u00e8s important pour la fabrication des panneaux MDF. \"Une chaleur et un temps d'exposition excessifs peuvent entra\u00eener des fissures et d'autres d\u00e9fauts dans la feuille\", note M. Lonczak.<\/p>\n<p>Les rev\u00eatements en poudre posent certains d\u00e9fis, mais DVUV ma\u00eetrise les mesures et les moyens pour les surmonter. Les variations d'humidit\u00e9 et de temp\u00e9rature peuvent affecter le succ\u00e8s d'un processus, mais il est facile d'y rem\u00e9dier en op\u00e9rant un contr\u00f4le du processus dans une usine \u00e0 temp\u00e9rature r\u00e9gul\u00e9e. Un humidificateur veille \u00e0 ce que le panneau MDF conserve un niveau d'humidit\u00e9 correct avant le rev\u00eatement par poudre.<\/p>\n<p>Le param\u00e9trage et le test de DVUV lors du premier passage garantissent \u00e9galement la production de produits stables et coh\u00e9rents. Le fonctionnement de DVUV pour chaque lien est personnalis\u00e9 en fonction des param\u00e8tres requis par le client pour la pi\u00e8ce \u00e0 usiner. \"La vitesse de la ligne, la distance entre les pistolets et la temp\u00e9rature du processus sont diff\u00e9rentes et corrig\u00e9es pour chaque projet que nous menons\", conclut M. Loncic.<\/p>\n<p>Outre le contr\u00f4le de la qualit\u00e9 en cours de production, l'\u00e9quipe de production met \u00e9galement en place des \u00e9tapes de mise en service. Les gouvernements et les organismes de r\u00e9glementation limitent ou \u00e9liminent l'utilisation de peintures liquides \u00e0 base de solvants.<\/p>\n<p>Les vernis liquides en phase aqueuse sont difficiles \u00e0 utiliser sur le MDF, ce qui fait des vernis en poudre durcissant aux UV une solution de traitement id\u00e9ale pour le MDF.<\/p>\n<p>Les rev\u00eatements en poudre durcissant aux UV sont sans solvant, non toxiques et ne contiennent pas de compos\u00e9s organiques volatils (COV) ni de polluants atmosph\u00e9riques nocifs.
