UV-1577 Application scenarios
1. Polycarbonate (PC) Products:
Suitable for PC films, sheets, plates, CDs, optical lenses, etc. It exhibits low volatility and minimal leaching during high-temperature processing, maintaining the transparency and anti-yellowing properties of the product over the long term. It is also compatible with PC formulations containing residual catalysts.
2. Polyester Materials:
Used in PET (polyethylene terephthalate), PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), polyether esters, etc. Compared to traditional benzotriazole UV absorbers, it provides superior weather resistance to the material, extending the lifespan of products used outdoors.
3. Other Engineering Plastics:
Suitable for PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), PA (polyamide), PS (polystyrene), SAN (styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer), ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate copolymer), and polyolefins, improving the UV aging resistance of automotive parts, electronic housings, and building components made from these materials.
4. Composite and Laminated Materials:
Used in laminated films, co-extruded or co-injection molded semi-finished products, enhancing the overall UV protection effect of multi-layer structural materials and ensuring material stability in complex processing and usage environments.
5. High-End Coatings and Coating Systems:
Used as a light stabilizer additive in coatings, such as automotive paints, building exterior coatings, and anticorrosive coatings, reducing the degradation of the coating by ultraviolet light and maintaining the appearance and protective performance of the coating.
6. Special Molded Products:
Used in complex molded products, flat/corrugated panels, double-walled panels, etc., meeting the requirements of these products for high UV absorber content, low volatility, and good compatibility, ensuring uniform protection across all parts of the product.
