Compare the correct route against a blank; do not use equal dosage as a substitute for matching system and addition stage.<\/p>\n<h2>Identify outgassing, boil, and cure skinning<\/h2>\n<p>If holes intensify on porous castings, wood, hot substrates, thick films, short flash, aggressive oven ramps, or high UV dose, run process comparisons first. Preheat or cool the substrate as appropriate, reduce wet-film build, lengthen flash, adjust solvent\/water balance, and change the early cure ramp one factor at a time.<\/p>\n<p>A defoamer cannot reliably stop gas generated below a film that skins too early.
