What is Soybean Extract?

It was extracted from the germs of Soy(Glycine max.) annual herbs of genus leguminosae, with dark gray to off white powder, special smell and light taste. Soybean isoflavones are a kind of secondary metabolites formed in the growth of soybean. They mainly exist in cotyledons and hypocotyls of soybean seeds. Soybean isoflavones include genistein, daidzein and daidzein. Natural soybean isoflavones are mainly composed of soybean isoflavones β- In the form of glucoside, soybean isoflavone can be hydrolyzed to free isoflavone under the action of various isoflavone glucosidases. Aglycon Soy Isoflavones: Aglycon isoflavones make up 80% of total isoflavones. the glucose group in glucoside soybean isoflavone was removed by enzymatic hydrolysis and transformed into free soybean isoflavone with higher activity.
