Description
Product Overview
CHLUMICURE® G30 reacts with carboxyl groups in compatible waterborne resins to build a crosslinked film. Its product profile includes slower reaction at ambient temperature and increased crosslinking during heated drying, allowing formulators to balance processing time with final coating resistance. The grade can be screened for hydrolysis, heat, scratch and abrasion resistance in suitable carboxyl-functional coating systems. It is water-dispersible but contains PMA solvent, so it should not be described as solvent-free. Addition level, mixing procedure and drying conditions require validation against the selected resin and application. Obtain the current SDS and technical guidance before selecting dilution or heating procedures.
Grade Characteristics
- Carboxyl-reactive crosslinking chemistry

Applications
- Crosslinking of carboxyl-functional waterborne resins
- Waterborne coatings requiring improved hydrolysis resistance
- Coatings requiring scratch and abrasion resistance
Formulation and Handling
Add with effective mixing and verify dispersion in the selected resin.
Request a formulation-specific dosage recommendation; the addition basis must be confirmed before use.
Use only a technically approved dilution or conditioning procedure, with reference to the current SDS.
Establish working time and drying conditions in the actual coating system.
- Contains PMA solvent; water-dispersibility does not mean solvent-free.
- No universal working time or substitution ratio is specified; consult the current SDS for hazard classification.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.
Packaging and Storage
20 kg or 25 kg plastic drums, or 180 kg iron drums.
Store in the original sealed packaging at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, ventilated place. Protect from freezing, high temperatures and direct sunlight. Stated shelf life: 6 months.
