Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WPU-6131 combines silicone modification with a waterborne polyurethane binder rather than functioning as a separate silicone resin. It is positioned for leather finishing, PVC and PET film coatings, and waterborne ink or plastic coating systems. Its stated mechanical data pair a modulus of 6.0-8.0 MPa with elongation at break of at least 400%. The resin is intended to provide a smooth, transparent, glossy finish with resistance to UV exposure and yellowing. For selection, confirm adhesion, clarity, flexibility and ageing using the actual substrate preparation, formulation and drying process.

Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.
Packaging and Storage
50 kg or 120 kg plastic drums.
Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and light. Stated shelf life: 6 months under these conditions.
